WHO IS ALISON HAMMER?
Alison Hammer has been spinning words into stories since she learned how to talk. A prolific writer and reader, she is obsessed with the craft of writing. As the author of four novels (with two more on the way), Alison honed her technique over decades of writing, rewriting and rewriting again. She’s also an award-winning creative director with 20+ years experience building integrated campaigns for a diverse group of brands across categories including B2B, CPG, Healthcare and SaaS. Whether she’s writing a 10-word billboard or a 100,000 word novel, Alison always writes with intent.
Curious about Alison’s novels? She has two solo books, YOU AND ME AND US (2020) and LITTLE PIECES OF ME (2021), which were both published by William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins. She's also half of the writing duo Ali Brady, along with her writing BFF, Bradeigh Godfrey. Their debut novel, THE BEACH TRAP (2022) from Berkley (Penguin Random House) made several ‘best of summer’ reading lists including The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and Katie Couric Media. Their next book, THE COMEBACK SUMMER, will be out on May 9th, and the novel they’re currently writing, CAMP PEOPLE, will be released Summer 2024, again from Berkley.
